About the Artist

Shelley was born in Toronto, Canada. In the early eighties she was sole proprietor of her wholesale and retail, custom design furniture and bedding company.

Moved to San Francisco in the mid eighties working creating backdrops and surfaces for commercials and feature films. Moved to New York in the mid eighties

She is a Furniture Designer, Interior Decorator, Colour Consultant and Artist.

She founded Fini Fini, a Decorative Art company in the late eighties. Creating interiors for corporate and residential projects such as The American Symphony Orchestra League Headquarters Manhattan. French Designer Showcase House International Contemporary Furniture Fair NY 1996-2004. Many celebrates homes and apartments the list goes on.

She was the featured artist for the opening of the Cyrille Varet Gallery in Paris, France. Studio manager for street artist “Swoon” for the floating sculptures of Swimming Cities of Switchback Sea culminating in her first solo show at Jeffrey Deitch Soho gallery and ending at Deitch Studios in Long Island. Hudson Valley is now her home, North Front Gallery in Kingston NY represents her work. She is widely collected both nationally and internationally. Many pieces are held in private collections.
