About the Exhibit
Communication tools, structures and the innumerable formats that shape our exchange with each other is an important facet of my work. These forms run the gamut from two-dimensional text analog and digital drawings to installation and assemblage. A quote, a dirge, a gospel, hymns, phrases, pictographs, emojis, song lines and such contribute to the orchestration of my compositions. The subsequent construction is the locus for the elemental marks made up of diverse building blocks of language that call and respond, generating layers of meaning and imagery.
